Expertly engineered for superior performance, finish, installation, and above all, experience. Visual Experience Series includes the all-new Sonance VX and James VXQ architectural speakers, leveraging the latest technological advances to reimagine driver, tweeter, and crossover design.
Sonance Visual Experience (VX) leverages four decades of speaker design and innovation success to inspire and reimagine speaker technology for the future.
We are dedicated to delivering solutions to weave music into the fabric of daily life and we know that it is most powerful when it is strategically comfortable to enjoy and meticulously designed to blend into the architecture. These foundational beliefs are what drove the design for Sonance VX series. The first loudspeaker to be engineered by simulation and machine learning, the new series features balanced coverage, low distortion, and smooth response for comfortable, natural sound reproduction.
Visual Experience with Quadratech is the line of premium Visual Experience models engineered for superior fidelity and durability with seamless alignment with other Visual Experience models in the Series. Visual Experience with Quadratech features a uniquely engineered James Quadratech Tweeter and Cymatic Diffuser to create crisp details and exceptional dispersion. Each VXQ Quadratech Tweeter was designed using iterative machine learning to create the ideal experience for each speaker size, a customized feature unique to each.

Expertly engineered for industry-leading performance while disappearing completely into the surface surrounding them, Sonance Invisible Series is the ultimate no-compromise solution.
MOTION FLEX DEFINED
The new Sonance Invisible Series, featuring Motion Flex Technology, offers a suite of advancements in invisible speaker engineering that together delivers unparalleled acoustic performance and redefines what is possible from an invisible speaker.
WAVE FLEX DRIVE UNIT
This high-bandwidth midrange and high-frequency transducer drive unit propagates sound via a bending-wave principle, delivering velvety-smooth mids and crystal-clear highs while enabling a lower crossover point to facilitate high fidelity listening.
AIR FLEX WOOFER
By coupling a glass-fiber woofer to our acoustically inert diaphragm via a pocket of air, the active diaphragm area moves like a piston. The result is robust and powerful bass that defies expectations and delivers unsurpassed sonic quality.
ACOUSTICALLY ISOLATED BAFFLE
The diaphragm is split into two active areas that are completely isolated. This prevents the bending motion of the Wave Flex Drive Unit from interfering with the pistonic motion of the Air Flex Woofer, enabling ultra-low distortion and a level of sonic transparency not previously possible in invisible speakers.
CONSTANT DIRECTIVITY CROSSOVER (CDX)
Sonance’s proprietary CDX crossover provides uniquely smooth off-axis frequency response, resulting in greater fidelity and coverage for each speaker. In the all new Invisible lineup, the CDX crossover allows for almost 180° of horizontal and vertical dispersion.
Motion Flex Invisible Series speakers are the ultimate expression of the Sonance Designed to Disappear Philosophy. Once installed properly, they are truly undetectable by the eye while creating an immersive sensation of sound coming from everywhere. To perfectly blend Sonance Invisible Speakers into the design of your space, a wide variety of finishes are possible.
SMALL APERTURE SERIES
James Small Aperture speakers and subwoofers are crafted from rigid marine grade aluminum and engineered for premium performance with proprietary woofer and driver technology to produce exceptional sound from a 3”, 4”, 7” or 8.5” opening. The series includes models with full-range playback for an audiophile, floor standing tower experience. With flexible finish solutions to match size, shape, trim, and material, Small Aperture speakers and subwoofers are simply outstanding.
Not just a sound in the distance... Make your home come alive with James SA Series 3-way systems. These systems pack 38Hz and broad dispersion in a an industry first 3” aperture. Deep bass and wide frequency response from such a small visible opening causes a second take! Plus a seamless edge detail to maximize the beauty of your home. All aircraft aluminum construction and a modular design provide long life and easy service. The SA series is designed to match industry standard lighting trim kits to allow integration with similar styled lighting products.
Each one of the SA Series models can be mounted either in-ceiling or in-wall, with only a relatively tiny opening exposed to the listener. To trim this opening, James Loudspeaker offers a vast array of standard and custom finishes for the low-profile grille, which is available in 3-inch or 4-inch round or square flush mount style. (Now available with 3-inch Microperf grille.)
WEDGE SERIES
Expertly crafted, uniquely designed to become part of the architecture, James Wedge speakers mount to a 90-degree corner where wall and ceiling surfaces meet. The Wedge can be built-to-order ensuring the speaker stretches the height or width of the surface for a clean blend into the architecture.
Each speaker features the James Quad Tweeter Array and high excursion woofers for great range and audio performance. Available with 4” or 5.25” drivers and built for the configuration and driver quantity that suits the need of the space, James Wedge models deliver astonishing audio with an intentional aesthetic.
All James transducers feature aluminum cones and Santoprene™ surrounds for outdoor and marine rated use.
Wedge Series are constructed entirely of aircraft grade aluminum for strength, sonic performance, and durability, and includes an aluminum perforated grille to provide years of trouble free use. This high grade aluminum also makes the loudspeaker marine and outdoor ready.
A unique mounting system features an easy to install corner bracket that the speaker clips into and securely fastened via setscrews and provides a clean looking visual with no exposed wires and brackets.
The Wedge Series are specialized all-terrain boundary application speaker systems for integration into a 90 degree corner, such as at 2 walls or a wall and ceiling. These models are ideally suited for immersive 3D audio systems, such as Atmos, Auro3D, DTS:X, or for traditional music and home theater application when the speakers need to be mounted up high.
This would include outdoor trellises, pergolas, under eave etc. This versatile speaker works well in residential and commercial installations where it can be located at ceiling and wall junctures to provide excellent sound performance yet minimal visible intrusion into the space, and with its compact design, this series easily integrates into any environment, both indoor and outdoor.
SOUNDBAR SERIES
SPL3 series soundbarbars boast a slim profile design at just 1.5 inches deep to match the ultra-slim depth of the most flat screen TVs. Using James proprietary ultra-slim driver technology and dynamic frequency response, acoustic performance is achieved in a smaller size than ever imaginable.
Complete with custom brackets to mount the bar or bars to the display, SPL3 soundbars integrate elegantly and seamlessly into any entertainment system. Using an extruded aluminum enclosure along with our ultra-slim aluminum cone woofers and silk dome tweeters, these bars can be placed just about anywhere, even outdoors. This completely customizable soundbar is the perfect solution for any variety of applications, delivering crisp, high-quality sound for the TV viewing experience..
